Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and force.

If you want me to do something for you, you have a choice of either convincing me via argument, or force me to do your bidding under threat of force. Every human interaction falls into one of those two categories, without exception. Reason or force, that's it.

In a truly moral and civilized society, people exclusively interact through persuasion. Force has no place as a valid method of social interaction and the only thing that removes force from the menu is the personal firearm, as paradoxical as it may sound to some.

When I carry a gun, you cannot deal with me by force. You have to use reason and try to persuade me, because I have a way to negate your threat or employment of force.

The gun is the only personal weapon that puts a 100-pound woman on equal footing with a 220-pound mugger, a 75-year old retiree on equal footing with a 19-year old gang banger, and a single guy on equal footing with a carload of drunk guys with baseball bats. The gun removes the disparity in physical strength, size, or numbers between a potential attacker and a defender.

There are plenty of people who consider the gun as the source of bad force equations. These are the people who think that we'd be more civilized if all guns were removed from society, because a firearm makes it easier for an armed mugger to do his job. That, of course, is only true if the mugger's potential victims are mostly disarmed either by choice or by legislative fiat; it has no validity when most of a mugger's potential marks are armed.

People who argue for the banning of arms ask for automatic rule by the young, the strong, and the many, and that's the exact opposite of a civilized society.  A mugger, even an armed one, can only make a successful living in a society where the state has granted him a force monopoly.

Then there's the argument that the gun makes confrontations lethal that otherwise would only result in injury. This argument is fallacious in several ways. Without guns involved, confrontations are won by the physically superior party inflicting overwhelming injury on the loser.

People who think that fists, bats, sticks, or stones don't constitute lethal force watch too much TV, where people take beatings and come out of it with a bloody lip at worst. The fact that the gun makes lethal force easier works solely in favor of the weaker defender, not the stronger attacker. If both are armed, the field is level.

The gun is the only weapon that's as lethal in the hands of an octogenarian as it is in the hands of a weight lifter. It simply wouldn't work as well as a force equalizer if it wasn't both lethal and easily employable.

When I carry a gun, I don't do so because I am looking for a fight, but because I'm looking to be left alone. The gun at my side means that I cannot be forced… only persuaded. I don't carry it because I'm afraid, but because it enables me to be unafraid. It doesn't limit the actions of those who would interact with me through reason, only the actions of those who would do so by force. It removes force from the equation... and that's why carrying a gun is a civilized act.

I am presently a Security Officer.But have investigated for individual persons in the past to find who was responsible for there loss of possessions.Being successful each time.I get insight from an unknown source.I would refer to as Inspiration from on High.For instance a murder had taken place in this area and I contacted a friend whom her husband is a law enforcement officer,told her of a picture the day after it happened,what the perp looked like what he was wearing when he was in the store how he did it and weapon he used.the detail was wild but it fit the guy they picked up later that day.So she calls me a profiler.so I believe these tools are to be used to bring justice to america.

But My Question is how do I go about getting plugged into the right resources to do so?

I am interested in bounty hunting.  However not in the traditional aspect.  Due to my own physical limitations I can not participate on a very physical level.  I am more interested in the skip tracking aspect. 

I also have an entire platoon of highly trained government soldiers that are working with me twards the goal of having their services rented as bounty hunters.  They would take direction and instruction from me and are all willing to travel to where ever and who ever needs our services. 

We would like to structure a business where as... these gentlemens services are contracted through me in order to assist a bondsman that needs assistance in physically catching an individual.  These men are highly trained and familar with non-lethals as well as many other tecniques. 

Is this something that would be able to be contracted by bondsmen and bounty hunters?  Is this type of service a viable service in this industry or would everyone in this venture require a bounty hunter/bondsman license?

I have been the victim of many illegal activities during the past 17 years because of two people that have been doing BULLY MEANNESS to me because of grudges or just for the fun of it.  I've had my home telephone tapped professionally "at the pole." I heard that you do not have to be certified as a bail enforcement agent in the state of Ga.&S.C. Is there any truth to this rumor.I am currently take my intermship up under a good bail enforcer at this time. I have recently lost my job as a newspaper salesman, my favorite show has always been Dawg the Bounty Hunter. I want to be just like him, how do I get started?? I currently have a BS degree in Newspaper Management from the Chicago Tribune School of Sales and Marketing. Would any of these credits transfer over to your courses?? How many classes do I need to become a legal bounty hunter?? How soon can I hit the streets and start to apprhend dangerous criminals?? I was taser shot beaten and tightly handcuffed behind back for three hours in cruiser under hot Fl. summer sun denied water toielt use heat and pain relief.  I still have skin damage after three years. I allso ost mobility so I can't use toilet paper anymore.  My hands were numb for two weeks and my skin lost its sens of touch for moths.  There were no criminal charges no weapon no threats no violence no strange or dangerous activity. Set up by wife's divorce lawyer who had a therapst call police falsley reporting suicide atemptin progrss becuase I refused to give wife everthing.. I was sitting in a plain armchaie hands in plain view and asked for respect of basic human and constitutional rights assuring them that there was no threat to anyoneor self and told a joke to calm them down. The worst thing I might ever do to myself is skip luch but chicken wings make me hungry when police taser shot me tightlu handcuffed me behind back and jailed me for weeks with no criminal char!ges no judge no jury no lawyer.  Wfe got $1,200,000 and $450,000 house car and sailboat.  I was left homeless and pennyless for years until I got my SS pension.  In Florida o redress allowed from any govt dept or agency. DOJ and FBI don't allow complaints for this eithe.  Florida gives itself sovereign immunity and Fed court say you can't sue any govt for the actions of its employees and ou can't sue the employees for following the official policies ad procedures of the Govt.m ZEIG HEIL ZEIG HEIL ZEIG HEIL. 

Can you help me by finding a lawyer who can be my coach or take my case? 

All of the facts I reported are verified by all police signed incident reports and official policy documents so If I canget a day in court I can't lose.

In the state of Texas, I understand that it is unlawfull for a Bail Recoverer to carry a firearm. However, because of a legal act, any firearm manufactured before 1899 is NOT a firearm, but an antique.

I do not have any type of training or whatnot so im plaining on starting my own bounty hunting service...lets just say that im not having a good yr for the 3rd yr in a roll...and my patience for finding jobs as in career wise has reached its maximum...this is very serious...and this is no comic book dream world that i have created..or am i a Batman/Punisher/Shadow wannabe either...i am a real person..and i need a job bad..so, in a few weeks if things do not get any better im going bounty huntin'....just to let ya know..

Don't Know How to Say Thank You to a Sailor, Soldier, Airman or Marine?

Man shoots himself while breaking into house then dies

DALLAS (AP) - Police in a Dallas suburb say a man trying to rob a house accidentally shot himself after kicking down the door and died in the driveway.

Grand Prairie police say the body of 19-year-old Cameron Sands was found outside the house early Tuesday.

Police Lt. John Brimmer says the evidence indicates Sands shot himself while trying to pull the gun from his waistband. He then dropped the gun and ran until he collapsed.

Sands was wounded in the stomach. The medical examiner's office has ruled his death accidental.

I only wish that all criminals were this considerate but I'm sure his mother is proud of him...

Stuttering

A teacher is explaining biology to her 4th grade students. "Human Beings are the only animals that stutter", she says.

A little girl raises her hand. "I had a kitty-cat who stuttered", she volunteered.

The teacher, knowing how precious some of these stories could become, asked the girl to describe the incident.

"Well", she began, "I was in the back yard with my kitty and the Rottweiler that lives next door got a running start and before we knew it, he jumped over the fence into our yard!

"That must've been scary", said the teacher.

"It sure was", said the little girl. "My kitty raised his back, went 'Fffff, Fffff, Fffff'...

And before he could say "Fuck," the Rottweiler ate him.

Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan, across the Potomac from our nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania?

Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?

And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was 'desecrated' when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet?  Well, I don't. I don't care at all.

I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.

I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime in Saudi Arabia.

I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for chopping off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat.

I'll care when the cowardly so-called 'insurgents' in Iraq come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques.

I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide.

I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights.

In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care.

When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have been humiliated in what amounts to a college-hazing incident, rest assured: I don't care.

When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank: I don't care.

When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed 'special' food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being 'mishandled,' you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts: I don't care.
 
And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled 'Koran' and other times 'Quran.' Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and-you guessed it-I don't care!!

If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this on to all your E-mail friends. Sooner or later, it'll get to the people responsible for this ridiculous behavior!

If you don't agree, then by all means hit the delete button. Should you choose the latter, then please don't complain when more atrocities committed by radical Muslims happen here in our great Country! And may I add:

Lisa Fernandes from Top Chef Did Not Win! Thank You.

Actually, I would have said, "Thank you, Jesus." but some would have dismissed me as a fundamentalist right-wing homophobe, which is clearly and substantially not the case. 

Why the blog post?

I have NEVER disliked a person on TV as much as that wretched, soul-less egotistical, NEGATIVE, conniving, back-stabbing, sorry excuse for a human being.  I wish Richard Blais or Stephanie Izard would have thrown her "under the bus" and pointed out that she only won one elimination challenge, zero quick fire challenges and managed to be in the bottom three contestants up for elimination for a terrible performance 6 times- more than any other contestant!  To make matters even more clear, she only managed to be selected as one of the better performing chefs 1 time in the 12 episodes she did not win.  She sunk to all-time lows of villainy with the unending insults and her wilingness to point out every one else's flaws at the judges table. 

She embodies the word "negative" in every sense of the word.

How exactly could the Top Chef judges choose her to be a top 3 finalist???  WTF.  Statistically speaking, Antonia, Dale and Andrew all had superior records and were far superior candidates for Top Chef.  Absent any clear or compelling evidence to the contrary, I am left only suppose it was simply that Lisa fits Bravo Entertainment's "key demographic" why they kept her around.

Of course if that was the situation then Bravo made an error as is evidenced by the phone-in viewer pole results in which Fernandes only garnered a 4% response to the question, "Who should be Top Chef?" among remaining contestants Richard and Stephanie.

I was pissed that I even had to sweat it out thinking that there was the slightest possibility that she MIGHT win.  I was going to swear the show off forever if she had.  One thing is for certain, that show lost a lot of credibility.  Guaging everyone else's reaction in the blogosphere, I am not too far off.

Big Brown did not win the Triple Crown, that's OK because Lisa is not Top Chef.

I didn't win the Florida Lottery last Saturday night, that's okay because Lisa Fernandes is not Bravo's pick for Top Chef.

My dog ate my $180 pair of Oakleys, that's OK because Fernandes was not chosen as the winner of Top Chef.

Everything is right with the universe and I am at peace; Lisa Fernandes is not Top Chef.

BTW, I do not claim to be an excellent cook but I can most certainly afford to eat at Mai House where Lisa works, I would simply not to support a restaurant where she was a chef.
